The aim of the training is to enable the fellows to carry out activities related to the specific area of public health microbiology: detection, surveillance, investigation and control of communicable disease threats.
Applicants must be microbiologists or biologists with experience in public health. They should be nationals of an EU Member State, Iceland, Liechtenstein or Norway. The EUPHEM Cohort 4 starts on 19 September 2011.
